‘NHZ’ Development Roadmap & Direction​

The following article is intended for everyone to get a glimpse of what the ‘NHZ’ development team is working on, and what features will be implemented into the pre-existing architecture and platform.

The ‘crypto-community’ for the past five years has operated without a lot of attention or recognition from external forces. Only in the past fourteen months has the mainstream media and big business, industry leaders, and government bodies begun to examine what ‘crypto-currency’ is. The source of value to these entities isn’t just the digital currencies; it’s the revolutionary technology that these currencies are built on – The blockchain.?

The blockchain is one of the most revolutionary technologies since the introduction of the internet because of its potential applications across multiple pre-existing technologies and infrastructure networks. For example:? Electronic voting has been used since the 1960’s, when the system of punch cards was introduced. Since then, the technology has evolved, and in the most recent elections, computers and software have been used to count votes. Throughout the turbulent history of electronic and digital voting, there have been cries of corruption, and rigging. Enter blockchain technology - A public ledger that can’t be bribed, paid off or persuaded by any party.? Trusting in a protocol based on mathematical formulas takes the human emotion out of the process, and therefor removes any bias. Blockchain technology brings accountability and order to any system that runs off of it. This is just one example of its potential application, but blockchain technology has the ability to affect everything and everyone.

NHZ’s development team understands this value. When building a coin or a platform, you must consider what your target audience is going to be in a couple years, not in six hours or a couple days after launch. You need to develop around a long term goal, and capturing the market of the future is our goal. With this in mind, we are pleased to announce our official branding with this value at its heart. “NHZ:? Professional blockchain asset-exchange services’.? Our goal is to provide real-world businesses and industries, small and big, a platform in which they can utilize blockchain technology based services. This concept is the first of its kind, and I predict that this model is what a lot of ‘coins’ that will thrive in the future will be using.? The entire markets for crypto-currency and people currently taking advantage of the technologies are very small; much like the early days of the internet. NHZ’s focus is being the first place that businesses who are interested in blockchain based services will look to.

Our development team not only has the technical experience and know how to build a platform & services that can cater to this emerging market, but we also have access to the private networks of people and connections in other real-world businesses and industries to make ‘NHZ’ the first destination that they will look at for implementation of blockchain based services and for their own companies and pre-existing services.
The following project listings are the framework for creating this platform that will be used to attract investors, and businesses alike.

Also please take note that these listings are brief descriptions so the public has insight into what is being worked on by the development team. More specific details pertaining to each project will be released as the projects near completion or are released. This method is used to prevent copy cats, and leaks of new and innovating ideas that are being used directly for “NHZ”.

1.) UI / User experience & functionality update: A complete re-work of the layout and user functionality of the ‘NHZ’ asset-exchange and wallet, with the goal in mind to provide a professional & user friendly interface.

2.) Integrated reputation / trust systems into the NHZ platform: Provide security and trust between the asset issuers and the public. *More details will be available in a future press release.

3.) ‘NHZ.info’ project:? Intended to provide a ‘NHZ’ FAQ for prospective clients, and to provide a user-friendly search option and profile system for all listed assets.

4.) Website / Forum / Faucet / Branding update:? Provide a functional faucet for distribution of ‘NHZ’ and to create a professional interface for the community and prospective clients. This is intended to be the gateway for users and businesses into ‘NHZ’.

5.) Mobile wallets for Android and iOS based systems:? Develop mobile wallets for ‘NHZ’ users with a focus on providing a clean and simple UI and user experience.

6.) ‘DarkHorizon’ project: Optional anonymous transactions between users. More details will be made available in future press releases.

7.) Digital goods store: Provide users a decentralized platform to buy and sell digital and physical goods and accept ‘NHZ ‘coins as payment.

8.) Encrypted messaging: Enable users to send encrypted messages within the ‘NHZ’ wallet.

9.) Minor functionality bug fixes / security patches: Fixes / patches that addressed flaws in NXT functionality and security issues.

10.) Major security improvements: A powerful new set of tools for individuals and businesses to secure sales, purchases and contracts.

11.) ‘NHZ think tank’ project: Bring together the ‘NHZ’ community into a group where the ‘NHZ’ development team can have direct input from the community to strengthen the channels of communication with the intent of providing the most innovative and secure products.

A professional, structured marketing plan has already been developed by our marketing & management team that consists of, but not limited to:

1.) Social Media exposure, awareness & promotional campaign – Platforms include Twitter, Facebook, Reddit and multiple forum groups.
2.) A visual and video campaign to accompany any and all press releases, and developmental releases.
3.) Meetings and partnerships with other crypto development teams, and businesses / corporate structures outside of the ‘crypto-community.’
4.) Increased and continual developer / public communication & interactions.? The goal is to have your voice heard, and any idea to be examined and considered.

A note on the current distribution model for ‘NHZ’:

Currently, there are over 2500 active nodes, which are paying out 666 ‘NHZ ‘coins every 24 hours. That is 1,665,000 coins every 24 hours. This statistic heavily impacts the distribution rate and time period of the distribution for ‘NHZ’. In the interest of maintaining a long and fair distribution model, the reward amount will be modified in correlation to change in price - Both up and down.? The node reward will be reviewed on a weekly basis starting October 4’Th, 2014 and any change will always be announced ahead of the actual change.

Giveaways on social media, and for community work bounties will continue. So be sure to watch for any giveaway or bounty announcement across the ‘NHZ’ social media platforms, and forums. Work bounties are determined on the basis of actual work completed, not work that is promised to be done. “You are paid for what you produce” is the motto.

Stakeholder bounty % won't change since that is based off your individual holdings in your wallet.

 

There is no set in stone amount. We will review the reward weekly based on the current price and how many nodes are active.
We want to keep the distribution period around 12 months. This ensures that everyone has a chance to receive NHZ, not just the early adopters.
As stated in the road map, the first review of the node amount will take place on October 4'th, 2014 and we will post weekly on the forums and social media platforms of any change.
