Bounty system suspended

    Hi guys,

our node bounty system had a hard time catching up with all the new nodes created in the last few days and sending out bounty amounts for them - today it failed completely. Nice work!

The bounty system is suspended until I work something out later today. No uptime will be lost, payments will only be a little late.

Edit: The downtime includes the node checker, so don't bother.

Node bounties are working again.. kind of.
It still takes a lot of time for the transactions to show up in the blockchain and we're still trying to figure out what causes it.
I will run the bounty script manually for now, so payouts will be less often - maybe about 2 or 3 times a day.
The API (node check) will remain down for now - you guys need to stop DOSing our server with API requests. ;)

Side note: node bounty account changed and is now NHZ-A9WQ-PC3J-B3SN-DHQSM
  3. how long will all this run normally sir?
  4. Here is a curl command to node check without API:

If you have linux like Debian:

    apt-get install curl

    curl -H "Content-Type: application/json" -d '{"protocol":1,"requestType":"getInfo"}'

Replace to IP of your node

If you have other OS then http://curl.haxx.se/download.html
  5. By now, with the increased interest and traffic ...
perhaps a 2nd block explorer server makes sense?
  6. any ETA for Recover?
  7. is there any problem with new nodes? would they recieve payouts?

the block explorer doesn't really have to do with this, it just queries the bounty system for some node info (obviously).
people need to stop checking the same ip ranges over and over again every few seconds though. we're thinking about solutions to this problem.

no problem with new nodes, don't worry

we're testing a fix as we speak. it looks pretty promising thus far. :)
it will still take a few hours to process the huge backlog on transactions, so please, have some patience
  9. Good Job Sir :D ...
  10. Does script still sending unpaid bounty reward? I didn't receive all of them.
