    Your passphrase is not submitted to the server, it stays in the browser. Transactions are signed on your client.
    So ssl is not mandatory. Doesn't mean we'll never enable it, but it's not a priority.

    I think TLS (SSL) is important so no one can tamper with the transmitted data (the client application).
