NHZ V2.2
« on: April 27, 2014, 07:46:24 pm »
We're proud to announce the public release of version 2.2

Changes:
- UPnP support
- NXS GUI

Download:
NHZ V2.2 ZIP (SHA256 checksum)

It's not a critical update, but a beautiful one

Should the nodes on VPS update?

I think not, at least for now.

All peers still using v2.1. Change is not always easy.

The big change is that new users will be able to deploy new hallmarks easier at home because of the UPNP support, so allrady running hallmarks does not get affected by that.

Means that, new nodes are earlier found by the system?
Node 107.170.158.234 (with V2.2) is now almost 24 hours online, but was not not detected yet.

Is there a possibility to disable UPnP support. On my laptop he hangs often at "detecting UPnP"and can't be switched off, only via the task manager. I use now the old version, but the new look is cool.
Any other with the same problem?

I think adding an option to disable UPnP is no problem for the next version.
I'm currently looking for a job. I will code Ruby and Perl for BTC or NHZ and can also do all kinds of Linux server administration tasks, including hardened/tightened security setups. Please contact me if you have anything that needs to be done.
